What’s been happening:

In 1986, I graduated from Penn State with a B.A. in Spanish. After doing some graduate work at PSU, I moved to Pittsburgh from State College in June 1990 and lived in the Shadyside section of the city until June 18, 2008, when I relocated to Shaker Heights, OH in order to take a job in downtown Cleveland with JPMorgan Chase. My mother still lives in Claysville (my father passed away on March 5, 2009) and my brother Terry, his wife Amy and my nephew Nathan live in Cuddy, PA. I'm still single and have no plans for a family; I enjoy my freedom and independence way too much! After I graduated from PSU, I was having a hard time finding a job in my chosen field and by sheer chance ended up pursuing a career in the mortgage banking industry; I am currently employed as a Senior Underwriter at Chase. It's certainly not what I had pictured myself doing when I was in high school and college, but it has worked out fairly well for me financially and professionally and it keeps the bills paid. I still enjoy traveling a lot; I've been on several trips including Europe, the Caribbean (several islands), the Bahamas, Mexico and Hawaii.
